Born in Vienna in 1990, Léa Wegmann grew up in the Bavarian alps. Being half french she was accepted in the famous classe libre of the Cours Florent in Paris where she worked with director Jean-Pierre Garnier and François Orsoni.
Curious of German theater she auditioned at the renowned theater school Ernst Busch and got accepted. In Berlin she played at the Volksbühne and Schaubühne and was engaged directly at the theater of Magdeburg after her studies. 2013 she receives the
"Prix International" at Cours Florent and 2015 she was priced with the "Best Actor Award" at GATS-Festival in Beijing.
